Aden C.
Professional Piano & Music Theory Educator
Aden has been playing piano since 2011 and brings several years of formal classical training to his work. A Laguna Beach native, he has a deep appreciation for a wide range of musical styles, including rock, alternative, and electronic music. Aden has an exceptional talent for music and loves playing by ear, but he also understands the discipline required to learn to read music through his classical training.  This dual perspective allows him to support students in developing both their listening instincts and their reading skills, meeting them where they are and helping them grow in a well-rounded way.
Aden is highly experienced with the ABRSM examination framework, having completed multiple levels himself and successfully guiding many students through the process. He has a strong understanding of the exam structure, expectations, and repertoire, and is a trusted resource within the studio for supporting both students and fellow instructors in preparing for these assessments.
Known as being one of the friendliest instructors, Aden brings a quick wit and engaging presence to his teaching, creating an enjoyable experience for students of all ages. Inspired by composers such as Maurice Ravel, Aden brings both creativity and musical sensitivity to his teaching. And for the record, his favorite ice cream flavor is cookies and cream (Aden’s, not Ravel’s).
