Professional Strings & Piano Educator

Zachary is a dedicated and approachable guitar instructor with 20 years of playing experience. He teaches students of all ages, specializing in classical, jazz, rock, and blues guitar, and offers beginner lessons in bass guitar and piano.

Zach is currently studying jazz guitar at Cuesta College, where he received both the Cuesta Music Conservatory Award and the San Luis Obispo Young Jazz Scholarship. He has studied with renowned jazz musicians Charlie Shoemake and Michael Ragonese, and plans to transfer to a four-year university to pursue a degree in music therapy.

When he’s not teaching, you’ll find Zachary practicing, playing gigs, or wishing he were doing one of the two.
