Professional Strings & Piano Educator
Joshua Mori is a violin performance student at the University of California, Irvine, where he
studies under Professor Dennis Kim as a member of his violin studio. He currently serves as a
principal violinist in the UCI Symphony Orchestra.
Joshua began studying the violin at the age of five and has pursued his passion for music ever
since. Throughout his musical career, he has performed with a variety of ensembles, including
the Bob Cole Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, the Los Angeles Film Score Conducting
Intensive Orchestra, and the RISE Diversity Orchestra. He has also participated in the Brevard
Center Summer Music Institute, where he served as Assistant Concertmaster of the Brevard
Sinfonia.
In addition to his performance experience, Joshua has a strong background in music theory,
music history, and conducting. He is also an experienced educator, having taught private violin
lessons and tutored students in a variety of academic subjects. He is passionate about sharing his
love of music through both performance and education.
