My love of music has taken me far into my own heart and sparked a lot of joy in my journey to pursue it. As a child I often sang aimlessly when I was bored around the house, but this habit quickly developed a wanting to be on stage and express myself through music. Although those opportunities didn’t show up until a little later in my life, I’m glad I chose to foster them. In high school I became a Madrigal chorister and quickly took to the sound of sacred and renaissance music. With the choir, we traveled to Italy experiencing the acoustics in various churches and performed for mass at the Vatican. And later to New York, attending masterclasses with influential musicians. I graduated high school and went to pursue a degree in psychology but quickly reconnected with music and ended up graduating with a BA in Music and an emphasis in Vocal Performance from UCSD. I am still a student of music today and am furthering my studies to connect more with opera. I enjoy all genres of music and recently competed for musical theater! I am excited to help any voice connect to its unique abilities in any genre of music that calls to you and I can’t wait to begin our work together!
