Professional Piano Educator

Lizzie is a piano instructor based in Orange County and a Biological Sciences student at Chapman University, where she is also pursuing a minor in Film Music. She has been playing piano since kindergarten and received extensive training through Orange County School of the Arts’ Popular Music program, where she studied piano, music theory, songwriting, arranging, recording, production, and performance. Additionally, she serves as Music and Vocal Director for No Script Theater’s annual productions. She has experience working with students of a variety of ages and learning styles through over two years of private tutoring. Lizzie brings a broad and creative approach to piano instruction, drawing from her background in contemporary music as well as her formal study of music theory. She enjoys helping students understand not only how to play music, but why it works, and encourages students to explore the music that excites them.

As an instructor, Lizzie is passionate about creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, experimenting, and working through challenges. Her goal is to help students build confidence, discover their own musical voice, and develop a lasting love of music.
