Professional Piano, Voice & Musical Theatre Educator

Mikayla is a performer with over 10 years of experience in voice and piano. She is currently attending the University of California, Irvine, to earn her BFA in Music Theatre with a Minor in Education. Her training started in legit music theatre, but has grown into classical opera styles, contemporary music theatre, pop, jazz, and more! Her personal philosophy is that any student should learn classical basics and proper vocal health, no matter what style they want to sing. 

Outside of teaching, Mikayla is constantly performing in productions throughout Orange County and through her University. After falling in love with teaching while being a TA in a Musical Theatre class at her Bay Area high school, she began doing more freelance teaching before joining the Elite Musique team. Mikayla believes every student has the potential to be an artist and performer, and she aims to help every student find their unique sound!
