Currently a senior at California State University, Monterey Bay, Skye is majoring in Marine Science with a minor in Statistics, seamlessly blending academic rigor with a vibrant musical career. With 11 years of classical viola mastery and a lifelong passion for teaching, Skye brings a unique perspective to every lesson.
As First Chair Violist in a local chamber orchestra for four years, a dedicated member of an honors symphony for six years, and a committed soloist, Skye’s industry pedigree shines through in both performance and instruction. Beyond the viola, they are a versatile musician—classically trained on string repertoire and self-taught in piano and violin—fostering a well-rounded and adaptable teaching style.
A natural educator at heart, Skye excels at translating complex musical concepts into clear, engaging lessons. Whether preparing for ABRSM or RCM exams, refining Suzuki repertoire, or building ensemble skills, their student-centered approach ensures learners of all ages and levels progress with confidence and joy.
When not immersed in music or academics, Skye enjoys scuba diving in the Monterey Bay, exploring the underwater world that inspires both their scientific studies and creative expression.
